HOTD back on hiatus?

The new chapter wasn't in this latest issue of Dragon Age, and there's no mention of the series returning in any future issues.

However, there were a few relevant illustrations this issue, so here they are.

I know I haven't been too productive lately, but my life has gone through some big changes recently, so I've been a bit occupied.  The volumes are in progress.

I'll keep this one brief, so that's all.  See you again soon.

    Its ongoing with 5 volumes released in Japan. Furthermore an anime adaptation is coming out next season i think?

    Can't blame him for the long breaks, hes still working on doujins & triage X.
    & not to mention Zombie stories are hard to write because other than survival theres really nothing to write about, and if u compell the main characters to go "investigate" the source of the epidemic, etc, it'll just kill the story....

    Even the guy who wrote the walking dead is wracking his brains on how to continue the series. He even thought about killing off the protaganist at one point...

    Well point is: zombie survival stories require alot of time... so i think it's better we wait for a good High-Quality chapter, than quickly get a half assed chapter every month

    I agree with Keita. If they go trying to find out the source, it will definitely kill the story unless he does something genius that we never thought off but other than that it will ruin it. Sometimes mysteries are best to be untold.
    I wonder how this anime is going to end XD

    The story will most likely do what Bleach did: change topic to something way more exciting. If Bleach would have stayed with the protagonist, Ichigo, still looking for the demon that killed his momma, Bleach as a manga would be no more.

    @Naeko: No, Highschool of the Dead isn't running right now. There is an illustration series with HOTD characters that's currently running that Turambar over at Scans of the Dead and XLG are both scanning, but other than that, it's just Triage X.
